Do you need cockroach control?
Cockroaches can cause a lot of nuisance in buildings where they establish themselves. The pests spread and multiply rapidly. Very unhygienic and also quite scary! Would you like to know more about cockroaches? About cockroach control? On this page, you’ll find all the information about different types of cockroaches, the costs of treatment, ways to detect cockroaches, and methods of cockroach control. You’re in the right place with Eversor for expert advice and professional treatments.

How do I recognize cockroaches?
Cockroaches are nuisance insects. The insects carry diseases, are very difficult to eradicate, and can therefore cause a lot of nuisance and damage. Due to the rapid reproduction of cockroaches, the pests can spread quickly in buildings and even to adjacent buildings. A cockroach infestation can basically only be controlled by professionals. The pests are very resilient and require very strong means and specific knowledge to be eradicated.
So, how do you recognize the presence of cockroaches?
The easiest way, of course, is to see a cockroach. There are various shapes and sizes. A good example is the photo at the top of this page. An insect with a flattened body, six legs, two pairs of wings, long and slender antennae, long and spiny legs, and a large shield-shaped pronotum (thorax).
Another way to recognize cockroaches is by their droppings. A cockroach’s droppings resemble coffee powder.
Another characteristic is the odor. Cockroaches, especially when present in large numbers, can leave a foul odor.
It’s important to proceed with professional extermination as soon as possible. An infestation can quickly grow and thus pose a greater danger.
What about do-it-yourself remedies from the internet or the store?
We always strongly discourage doing it yourself. DIY remedies often don’t work well, which can allow the problem to further spread and cause more and more damage. Proper pest control tools are accessible only to professionals. That’s because the biocides used are often highly toxic. A professional knows how to handle this, understands the risks of usage, and knows how to protect themselves, you, and your environment from the dangers of the poison. What can be useful, though, is to start by detecting cockroaches yourself. You can do this with the cockroach traps in our webshop.
Do you recognize one or more characteristics? Don’t hesitate, prevent further damage, and contact a professional exterminator immediately.
How does a treatment against cockroaches work?
Cockroaches are often difficult to control, requiring special techniques and strong biocides to carry out effective extermination. Fortunately, Eversor has the most innovative and advanced techniques on the market to eliminate cockroaches at its disposal.
Cockroach traps
The most basic way to catch cockroaches is with glue traps. The issue is that not all cockroaches will be caught, so you’ll still have a problem. However, this method is very useful for detecting and monitoring where in the house the largest number of cockroaches are located. This allows for more effective combat.
Chemical method
The most common method used to control cockroaches is chemical. The treatment targets surfaces, such as floors. A spray can is used to apply insecticide in all possible seams and cracks. This method is known to be very effective because the cockroaches and their eggs die almost immediately as a result of the treatment. During the treatment, however, it is not permitted to enter the treated areas. Afterward, these areas must be well ventilated.
Another effective method against cockroaches is bait gel. A poisoned bait is applied with a dosing gun to areas where cockroaches are often found. Cockroaches that eat the bait die within a day. It may take some time for all cockroaches to eat the bait. However, this method ultimately ensures that all cockroaches are eliminated.
When is the nuisance over?
Depending on the type of treatment applied, it may take some time for cockroaches to be fully eradicated. Also, the spaces may be temporarily inaccessible due to biocides.
